We went to Germany in November, and we had to see famous Bavarian castles.
One hour and forty minutes away (120 km) from Munich we found Alpsee lake, couple of swons and small town Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria... just few minutes away from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles! Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village.
Also, if you dont know... it was an inspiration for the castle in the Disney movie,
